Jason

I know that Amanda has received a promotion and has an increasing workload. Still, I must talk to her about how vital this relationship is for me.

I sit on the couch, figuring out ways to talk to Amanda, but she interrupts me herself.

"Jason, don't you worry about our relationship complexities because of my promotion?" she asks.

"Why would I be, Amanda? Incredible, you got a promotion, and I am so proud of you," I reply, pulling her over me.

I have no problem with Amanda's career and her goals. Instead, I want to support her in everything she does. I don't know why Amanda thinks that I will be worried about her career goals. It's just that I want to tell her how meaningful this relationship is for me.

"I was nervous to tell you. It means more work and pressure, but I couldn't turn down the opportunity," she says, looking into my eyes. I keep my hand on her shoulder, reassuring her that she should not worry.

"Hey, Amanda, don't worry about that. I'm here to support you no matter what. You're an incredible designer and deserve this promotion," I say. I have seen Amanda struggling with her career, and I know the effort she has put into her work to reach this stage.

"Amanda, I know this promotion means a lot to you. I will never ask you to turn down any opportunity you get to flourish in your career," I say, caressing her gently.

"Thank you, Jason. I appreciate your support," she replies as she takes a big sigh of relief.

"Of course. I know this is a big step for you, and I want to be there for you through it all," I say, smiling.

Amanda leans in and kisses me, telling me she is grateful for my reassurance.

"I'm so lucky, Jason, to have you in my life," she says.

"No, I'm the lucky one. I get to be with an amazing fashion designer," I reply by adding a splash of humor to a grave topic, making her giggle as she builds her confidence.

"I'm excited for this new chapter in my career. It will be a big challenge, but I'm ready," she says excitedly.

"And I'll be right there with you every step of the way. You're going to do amazing things, Amanda. I do not doubt that," I say, taking her hand in mine.

"Thank you, Jason; you always know what to say to make me feel better," she says as I lean in to kiss her again.

"My doubts about my career and workload don't matter unless I have you. I can take on anything as long as I have your support," she says.

It's an excellent time to bring up my topic about our relationship, I think to myself.

"Amanda, I need to talk to you about something," I say, keeping a serious tone.

"What is it?" she asks me with a look of concern on her face.

I take a deep breath and look into her eyes.

"Amanda, I want you to know that I support your career aspirations.
